Custom Shearing of Steel Plates

We have a 12' wide Bertsch shear with the capacity to cut up to 1/2" thick mild steel and A36 plate, and up to 1/4" AR400 and A514 (T1) plate.  Our hydraulically powered machine is able to hold a tolerance of +/- 1/16", and can be used to produce mass quantities of rectangular shapes and other types of custom straight-edge cuts.  Our shear is used when plasma or flame-cut edges are not acceptable due to the hardening of the edges produced by thermal cutting.
